Una casa grande llamada Quinta Prout de tres pisos con jardines bonitos en el Urbanización residencial El Marqués en Caracas, se ha donado para uso permanente como sede nacional. Casi 100 personas vinieron, incluso oficiales gubernamentales, vecinos y amigos. El evento de cinco horas incluyó la meditación colectiva, presentaciones breves por cada uno de los miembros de la Junta Directiva vestidas en sus camisas del IVIP, la exhibición de nuestro documental de la media hora, “Otra Vida es Posible: las cooperativas en Barlovento, Venezuela”, y mucha comida vegetariana muy deliciosa. Para leer el artículo original en inglés, descarga: PRIVEN Cooperativas Venezolanas El Instituto Venezolano de Investigación de Prout (IVIP) invita a su conferencia de prensa en su fiesta de inauguración de la nueva sede en Caracas. El IVIP está dedicado a apoyar las cooperativas en Venezuela. Prout son las siglas de la Teoría de la Utilización Progresiva (o, en inglés, the Progressive Utilization Theory), es un nuevo modelo socio-económico. Prout se basa en la auto-suficiencia de cada región, el sistema cooperativo, el equilibrio ambiental y los valores espirituales universales. El fundador de Prout era Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar (1921 a 1990), filósofo hindú, autor de más de 400 libros, compositor y maestro espiritual. El IVIP fue registrado en 2007 como una fundación independiente, sin fines de lucro, para cooperar con el proceso cooperativo en Venezuela. Completó una investigación sobre cooperativas en Barlovento, Estado Miranda, y produciú un documental de media hora, “Otra Vida es Posible: Cooperativas en Barlovento”. El IVIP está preparando cursos prácticos de entrenamiento para fortalecer el proceso de gestión de las cooperativas. Una casa en El Marqués fue donada al IVIP para uso permanente como sede nacional. Entonces, Sábado, 21 de junio, a las 4:00 p.m. será el inauguración de la nueva sed en Quinta Prout, Avenida Sanz, Calle Terepaima con Mosen Sol, Final del Colegio María Santísima, El Marqués, Caracas. El programa comenzará con meditación colectiva, seguida de presentaciones por José Albarrán, presidente de IVIP, y Dada Maheshvarananda, director. También será presentaciones por lideres del movimiento nacional de cooperativismo como Dr. Carlos José Molina Camacho, Luis Delgado y representantes de diferentes órganos del estado que ofrecerán sus perspectivas. A very large 3-story house with beautiful gardens in a lovely residential neighborhood of Caracas, it has been donated to use forever. Nearly 100 people came, including government officials, neighbors and friends. The five-hour event included collective meditation, brief talks by each of the Board members wearing their PRIV shirts, the showing of our half-hour documentary made for Venezuelan television, “Another Life is Possible: Cooperatives in Barlovento, Venezuela”, and plenty of very delicious vegetarian food.
